This is a shot from Mountain Village, a faux rustic concoction built in 1987. Half of the lifts leave from here, and you can actually get around town in a gondola. One of the lifts from the previous photo comes over here and there are a few others that seem to go all over. You can also ski just about everywhere, as every real estate agent knows that "ski to your door" equals big money. Mountain Village can't seem to decide if it's faux European or faux Telluride old west, but it does know that it's expensive. You do get an idea of the scale here.
