Can you see the Bookcliffs in the background? To get here, I passed through aspen forests, desert rock and vinyards. The best part was one section of the road that wiggled up a steep slope - and there were snowboarders getting rides up to the top, then shredding down to the road far below. The toboganning is of a different magnitude than the stuff I'm used to as well. Deep snow, big slopes - and you need to use a big tube for flotation. Sleds just sink. | ||
