Day 2 was Steelbender. I've done this before (1st Moab trip) but in the other direction. This particular hill defeated the 110 due to a bit of bad luck. Basil made it up with a bit of scrambling and an exciting ride down backwards after the first ill-fated attempt. I knew that drum brakes don't work backwards, but I don't think the others expected me to illustrate it quite so dramatically. Basil was the only Series vehicle on the trip, which included three D-90s, the 110, two Discos, a Toyota 4Runner and Bill's Rangie.
