Now that was exciting. While scrambing up this steep trail, Basil's front wheels slipped sideways off the large rock in the foreground. One went off the side of the trail and Basil came to a very precarious stop. That slope is a lot steeper than it looks and goes a long way down. Some ATV riders and some other folks around gave me a hand in getting Basil back upright safely. It's a good thing I carry a bunch of recovery gear with me. There was no damage. It turns out there was a massive drift of snow around the bend, so Imogene is closed for the season.
