Where the heck can I put a Miata.net sticker???
Well, here are some places used by folks around the world.
- On the 1999 Miata! Both a close-up
and a longer
shot, taken at Laguna Seca in November 1997. Thanks
to Aleksandr Milewski and Jeannie Hobbs for these shots!
The only Miata showcar that has never worn a Miata.net
sticker is the Club Racer model.
- 6.7" sticker on the
windshield. Can you name the car?
- 3.2"
sticker on the vent window. One of the most popular
places. Hmm - there's only been one Miata painted that
colour....
- 3.2" sticker on the
windshield, right by the VIN number. Subtle and
elegant. Sorry, I can't remember whose car this is!
- 24" sticker on the
windshield - a banner, actually. This is TIC TAC,
owned by Ken Walker and now renamed ICE CUBE after a move
to Minnesota. The tan colour matches the interior. The
black background was put on separately by Ken.
- 24" banner - on Baby,
one of the more well known Miatas online. Also from the front.
- White 6.7" sticker on
the taillight. Very nice, and the only one I've seen
like it. Matt Hess thought this one up.
- 3.2" above the taillight.
H. Dan Smith.
- 3.2" on the third brake
light. A popular place - disappears when the light
comes on. This is my car.
- 3.2" under the rear
Mazda badge. TIC TAC again. The sticker's black in
this shot, but it's been replaced by a tan one.
- 6.7" on a windblocker.
Joined by a whole bunch of other stickers, this is on my
car. You can also see the one on the vent window.
- 37" on the doors.
Frank Brochoven and Bibi had this temporarily. Wow - I'd
love to see these myself. That's Petra's Snakebite in the
background - you can't see her sticker. Yes, those are
17" wheels on Bibi.
- 48"
on the hood. This was temporary for Miata 96 in
Toronto, and that's Baby in the photo. A couple of weeks
later, she got striped.
Other cars that wear Miata.net
stickers include Honda Civics, Suburbans, and at least
one tractor.
